AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS):Alutiiq Information Management, LLC, a subsidiary of
Alutiiq, LLC, has an opening for a Financial Analyst II. The
Financial Analyst II performs a wide variety of highly responsible
tasks by way of financial analytical assistance in support of
managerial contractual oversight. This position will assist and
advise on the development and implementation of policies,
procedures, and programs; administration and oversight of
government contracts, facility budgets and overhead budgets; budget
analysis, preparation, monitoring, and reporting; administrative
support through research, analysis, report writing, and
recommendations; and other related work.This position offers a
remote opportunity.
- Performs data collection and analysis with multiple financial
systems.
- Exercises detailed analytical skills in reviewing financial
reports, determining financial variances, and communicating root
cause issues and impact to all levels of management.
- Prepares Estimates at Completion (EAC) for direct charge
programs. Experience with Earned Value management (EVM) is a
plus.
- Development of Cost Estimates and track actual costs, margins,
and rate variances.
- Development of Program Status Reports and Contract
Deliverables.
- Prepare purchase requisitions for ordering equipment and
material.
- Monitor TOs to ensure resource allocation (manpower, hardware,
and software) is being met to complete the contracted tasking
requirements.
- Monitor TO funding to ensure tasking can be completed within
the funding constraints.
- Prepare ROMs based on government requests.
- Compile and generate Contract Data Requirements List
(CDRLs).
- Collect and organize information about the problem to be solved
or the procedure to be improved.
- Examine financial and other data, including revenue,
expenditure, and employment reports.
- Create solutions or alternative practices.
- Gather business or financial data.
- Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative
methods of proceeding.
- Recommend new systems, procedures, or organizational
changes.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful
functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a
related discipline, or High School Degree with over 10+ years of
experience.
- 5+ years of operational oversight including strong financial
understanding of contract administration.
- 5+ years of direct government contracting experience, DoD
preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of government reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of CostPoint and Deltek.
- Secret Clearance or eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S.
Citizen.
- Requires a minimum of four years' experience in a
business-related field demonstrating self-confidence, independent
management of workload, communication with diverse individuals,
application of good judgment, and working knowledge of business
