Position SummarySan Diego State University is seeking a
dedicated and detail-oriented Ticket Office Accounting Technician
to join our team. Reporting directly to the Associate Athletic
Director of Ticket Operations, this role is vital in ensuring
accurate budget reconciliation and comprehensive reporting.Key
Responsibilities:
- Budget Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform thorough budget
reconciliation and generate detailed reports. Work to streamline
the reconciliation process for efficiency.
- Product Insight: Provide valuable insights into our full range
of ticket products, including season tickets, group tickets, and
single-game tickets.
- Data Analysis: Analyze budget reports effectively and present
financial information in an easily digestible format for

online portal.Position InformationThis is a full-time (1.0
time-base), benefits eligible, temporary position with an
anticipated end date of December 31, 2025, with the possibility of
reappointment. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA
and is eligible for overtime compensation. Standard SDSU work hours
are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on
operational needs. (Ability to work nights/weekends.) The
individual hired into this role will work primarily at Snapdragon
Stadium and will occasionally work on campus at SDSU in San
Diego.Education and ExperienceEquivalent to three years of
progressively responsible financial record-keeping experience which
has provided the above knowledge and abilities; Any equivalent
combination of education and experience which provides the required
knowledge and abilities.Key Qualifications
- Ability to use current computer word processing and spreadsheet
software programs, web browsers, query tools, integrated financial
systems and/or other types of records management systems, such as
student accounting, cashiering and student financial aid.
- A working knowledge of Ticketmaster/Archtics.
