Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics
Engineering, Engineering, or related field.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Degree and above in any Engineering disciplines.
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing
engineering, industrial engineering or operations research in the
semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and
interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and have a strong commitment at
work.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Plant Capacity
Management:
- Apply advanced engineering knowledge and experience to develop,
implement, and improve methods, time standards, capacity planning,
sequence of operation, data analysis, and production line layouts
in SAW and BAW filter manufacturing for front-end and back-end
operations.
- Implement and fan-out standard factory planning models,
methods, and tools.
- Ensure the effectiveness of techniques used.
- Optimize the use of production facilities, equipment layout,
workflow, space utilization, production layout, office layout,
plant expansion and relocation activities.
- Global Equipment Strategy (GES) equipment assessment and
review. Evaluate, recommend, and implement a wide range of complex
equipment, tools, and fixtures. Contribute to equipment
selection.
- Follow up to ensure that the procurement of new equipment is in
line with GES strategy and long-term equipment requirements.Site,
location manufacturing strategy and business continuity planning:
- Contribute to the Global Manufacturing Strategy (GMS) to
facilitate the review of technology and site selection strategies
and business continuity plans, decisions, and execution.
- Effectively execute capacity ramp-up/downs and production site
transfers based on business needs and strategic long-term
goals.
- Support capital projects through job sampling, cost
justification, and cost/benefit analysis.Capital expenditure
management:
- Track capital expenditures across the plant to ensure spendings
are within budget.
- Follow up to ensure that project expenditure
milestones/targets, and approved budgets are met.Strategic resource
planning and optimization:
- Work with engineering teams to achieve operational excellence
for productivity, OEE and profitability. Monitor
performance/results against the project's timeline and goals.
- Apply time standards and capacity modeling knowledge to create
models to forecast production output and resource requirements.
Simulate and analyze the design.
- Support the implementation of multiple and/or large-scale
solutions to optimize efficient and high-quality production/process
elements and outputs (e.g., process flow, capacities,
materials).
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of plant resources through data
reporting and analytics to increase productivity, reduce spending,
maximize throughput, and ensure workplace safety.
- Analyze production output and resource requirements of complex
production scenarios.
- Analyze production equipment capacity and manpower requirements
to support long-term and short-term strategic demand planning.
- Support the engineering team to solve bottlenecks in the
production process.
- Support the planning, analysis and development of production
capacity outlook, fabrication and loading plans.
- Write and maintain detailed technical documentation for
manufacturing/engineering activities and projects.Level of
Responsibility:
- Works under supervision.
- Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work
group.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey
basic, routine factual information.
- Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various
orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must
occur to complete the tasks effectively.Skills, Abilities &
Knowledge:
- Good planning, analytical mind, and organizational skills.
- Well-versed in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Added advantage with knowledge in AutoCAD.
- Energetic, resourceful, self-motivated, with strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
