The Dexcom Electrical Engineering team is accountable for all
aspects of electronics development for research platforms, wearable
transmitters, handheld receivers and test tools.The Sr. Manager of
Hardware Engineering is accountable for design, modeling/simulation
and test of electronics throughout the entire product lifecycle,
from concept to end-of-life.Where you come in:
- You will lead a diverse multi-site matrix team responsible for
ultra-low power (ULP) analog, digital, and RF design.
- You will serve with integrity, listen, build trust, resolve
conflict and clearly communicate expectations.
- You will develop, motivate, and retain talent by fostering an
open, inclusive and collaborative environment.
- You will address ambiguity, changing priorities and complex
problems efficiently and effectively.
- You will ensure designs achieve the highest quality at the
lowest cost with the lowest cycle times.
- You will implement, contribute to and lead cross-functional
design reviews to maximize quality.
- You will promote a culture of low-cost design, encouraging
innovation and efficient design methods.
- You will define, implement and optimize processes and tools to
maximize quality and minimize cycle times.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver
to agreed-upon project milestones and timelines.
- You will analyze and synthesize specs, data and design
proposals into clear communication to diverse audiences.What makes
you successful:
- You have experience leading a matrix engineering team that
develops high-volume, low-cost electronic designs.
- You have extensive electronic design experience, preferably ULP
analog (AFE), digital (MCU), and RF (NFC, BLE).
- You have a proven track record of managing and executing in a
deadline driven, fast paced environment.
- You communicate with transparency and your actions reflect
honesty, equity and inclusion.
- You model and facilitate collaboration, encouraging open
dialogue and listening to diverse perspectives.
- You eliminate obstacles and motivate your team to achieve
outcomes that move the organization forward.
- You promote a culture of low-cost design, encouraging
innovation and efficient design methods.
- You clearly and concisely convey technical information to
diverse audiences via technical design reviews.
- You maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and
standards.
- Proficient with ANSYS, Altium, Cadence tools a plus;

- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical
discipline with 13+ years of industry experience.
- 5-8 years of previous people management experience.Travel
