RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):Alutiiq Information
Management, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an exciting
opportunity for a Design Engineer, Mid. We are seeking a mid-career
network, programming, and/or software engineer to primarily
develop, support, and maintain a state of the art maritime
surveillance system. Applicant to contribute in the design,
improvements and integration of capabilities to existing
system.
- Design/Improve/Implement new and existing products
- Research and evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost
efficiency and reliability
- Analyze test results and recommend appropriate design
changes
- Coordinate with engineering staff and other company resources
to complete RDTE and NIWC-Electronic Harbor Security
projectsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S.
Citizen.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software or
Systems Engineering from an accredited institution plus four (4) to
seven (7) years relevant specialized experience performing system
design, integration, laboratory, and GUI development.
- Four (4) years experience with Electronic Security Systems
- Four (4) years experience in digital and analog systems and
subsystems
- Four (4) years of experience on U.S. Navy maintenance
philosophy
- Provide system analysis of components or subsystems of Naval
military systems.
- Perform engineering work and apply judgment to resolve
