As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to address questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications.Job Description:

• Support Qualcomm Android Phone/Tablet platform customer, help customer win market.
• Collaborate with customers for Voice AI model optimization and quantization.
• Support customer end-to-end Voice AI model deployment, verification, and debugging.
• Support customer Audio issues debugging.
• Train customers with software integration and development, assistance with software and system debugging, handling customer Q&A.
• Interfacing closely with San Diego-based developers are some of the key daily activities in this role.Skills/Experience:
• AI model porting on target or model/framework knowledge - preferred.
• Strong Python skill is required.
• Strong C/C++ programming skill is required.
• Knowledge of Voice AI audio feature processing.
• Embedded Linux/Android Audio framework and device driver background.
• RTOS or High-level OS of Linux/Android knowledge background.
• Strong communication (Writing/Speaking) Chinese/English skills, Strong interpersonal skills, Strong initiative skills.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent team player.Education Requirements:- Bachelor (with 5 years working experience) or MS degree (with 3 years working experience) in Communications or Electronics Engineering area.Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
