We are in need of a Facilities Engineer for a long term opportunity in San Diego, CA.

This role will be focused facility improvements, modifications, or surveys. This includes preparing all estimates related to engineering drawings and specifications for work that is part of a major project or a total project of moderate scope. Facility Engineers evaluate our site infrastructure needs and prepares long-term cost and usage studies. Performs all necessary scheduling and coordinating of projects with internal customers, Maintenance, construction personnel, and outside contractors. This includes managing capital budgets, contractor PO's and invoicing, and contractor safety.

The ideal candidate will have expereince in the following areas:

---Managing the installation of manufacturing machine tools (new concrete foundations, installation of electrical lines and air lines, rigging and assembly)

---Performing all engineering in accordance with building permits and city/state building codes.

---Maintaining all necessary records regarding project status and costs.

---Has working knowledge of safety/environmental OSHA regulations, building practices and techniques related to facility engineering.

---Responsible for all office/cubicle moves including working with HD Maintenance personnel, making changes in iOffice, and tracking work orders.

Minimum Qualifications:

---Previous experience working in construction or engineering

---Familiar with OSHA and building standards

---Working knowledge with Office 365

---Familiar with HD infrastructure including electrical, gas, compressed air, water, and sewer

Preferred Qualifications

---Bachelor degree in an engineering field

---Previous experience working in Maintenance or Facility Engineering

---Working knowledge working with AutoCAD

---Previous experience in obtaining city permits



Pay Rate: $45/hour- $65/hour
