GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
A Project Manager position in Location is available at Garney Construction. To be considered for this position you must have previous project management experience in the water and waste-water construction industry.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• 
  
• Managing cost and "Work In Progress" projections.
  
• Managing job site supervisory personnel.
  
• Planning and scheduling the project.
  
• Developing and maintaining owner relations.
  
• Negotiating and purchasing materials.
  
• Establishing and enforcing job site safety expectations.
  
• Managing project costs.
  
• Overseeing labor projections.
  
• Contract negotiation and administration.
  
  WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  
  
  Education/Certification/Security
  
  *BS in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
  
  *PE license preferred
  
  *EM 385 40-hour and/or OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
  
  *USACE CQM Certificate preferred
  
  *Eligible for security badging on U.S. military installations
  
  *Valid Real ID driver's license and U.S. passport
  
  
  
  Work Experience
  
  *7-10 years of progressive Federal construction experience, preferably in water, wastewater, or heavy civil projects
  
  *Participation in Federal industry groups (e.g., SAME) preferred
  
  
  
  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  
  *Understanding of Federal construction, contract administration, QC, and safety requirements
  
  *Proficiency in MS Office, P6 scheduling, Bluebeam, and CAD software
  
  *Strong grasp of quality management concepts and audit procedures
  
  *Expertise in Federal Government Quality Management programs
  
  *Ability to read, interpret, and communicate plans and specifications
  
  *Field experience as Engineer, Superintendent, or QC Manager preferred
  
  *Excellent communication and organizational skills
