This is an onsite job in San Diego, CA and there is no relocation assistance is available.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business needs and translate them into system configurations, workflows, and feature enhancements.
- Oversee system performance, security, and reliability, ensuring the stability of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Coordinate software updates, fixes, and new feature deployments while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection, audit, and security policies.
- Participate in system-related projects, including planning, integration, testing, and potential data migration efforts.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business units and IT teams, troubleshooting platform-related issues and working with vendors to resolve them.
- Design and deliver user training materials to support adoption and efficient use of the system.
- Administer security settings, manage access control, and oversee change management in the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Handle software vendor relationships, including licensing and contract negotiations.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and team structures within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Tailor system interfaces by configuring forms, views, dashboards, and reports.
- Define and implement automated business rules, workflows, and structured processes to improve efficiency.
- Oversee data management tasks, including imports, exports, and backups.
- Continuously monitor system health, proactively addressing performance concerns.
- Deploy updates, patches, and hotfixes as needed.

Skills & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in a systems administration capacity including a recent focus on Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proven ability to estimate project timelines accurately and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Azure, and Microsoft DevOps.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Hands-on experience managing security roles and access control within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Deep understanding of system lifecycle management, software development best practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with data integration methods, batch processing, and system data management within Microsoft Dynamics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O architecture and functional modules.
- Demonstrated experience working as a system administrator for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Solid understanding of enterprise data structures, data warehousing concepts, and data lakes.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience administering Dynamics 365 F&O platform.
- Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and DevOps tools are highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile methodology
