Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience managing complex systems, with a strong background in AWS, network management, Linux and Windows administration, Microsoft 365, Azure, backup solutions, SaaS application management, and on-premises infrastructure.As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

• Manage and maintain complex IT systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Oversee network infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, ensuring security and compliance with best practices.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS environments, including user management, security, and resource optimization.
• Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Oversee SaaS applications, ensuring seamless integration and operation within the IT ecosystem.
• Maintain on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support lab and manufacturing device management.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Minimum of five years of experience managing complex IT systems, including networks.
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of backup solutions and data recovery processes.
• Experience managing SaaS applications and on-premises infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment, directly interfacing with users.Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it's ok if you don't!):
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.
• Biotech lab device and manufacturing management.
