We're looking for innovators who can help us keep building on our wide portfolio of secure, affordable, integrated, and multi-domain systems and technologies that fuel those missions.The Northrop Grumman Networked Information Solutions Division is looking for a Principal Contract Administrator to join the Network Operations, Sustainment, Support, & Modernization (N-OSSM) Operating Unit in San Diego, CA. This position will require excellent oral and written communication skills and will represent the organization as a focal point on contract matters.What You'll Get to Do:The Principal Contract Administrator will be considered a key focal point on contract matters within the organization and must demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. Responsibilities include:
  • Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
  • Provide advice to management of contractual rights and obligations, compile and analyze data, and maintain historical information.
  • Handle urgent situations from Northrop Grumman leadership and U.S. Government officials.
  • Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
  • Provide contractual advice in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as an external spokesperson for the organization on major matters.
  • Ensure timely and compliant deliverables for all contracts assigned.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years relevant experience in U.S. Government contract administration and management, or a Master's Degree with 3 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to effectively work with management of other organizations and Government agencies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of FAR and DFARS.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration & management.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.What We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
