The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.Meet the team:Are you a Data Scientist that thrives in a highly collaborative, high growth company?Dexcom has an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to provide support for the projects, functions, and strategic objectives of the Operations Intelligence Team.This is a growing team that partners across multiple functions (Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Enterprise BI Team, R&D). Along with working to provide data for key operating metrics and insights, Dexcom is the place where you can apply advanced analytics for good in the world.Where you come in:

  • You like to work in close collaboration with team partners such as product owners, project managers, designers and other team members
  • You love transforming a mixture of structure and unstructured data into actionable data insights and products
  • You enjoy building new analytic tools to quantify, visualize, and structure various data sources
  • You have a passion for building statistical models that improve understandingWhat makes you successful:
    • You have 6 years of work experience using advanced analytics to solve product or business problems
    • You have a master's degree in data science
    • You have led multiple projects and deployed real-time predictive models to production using CI/CD/CT
    • You have deep experience in deriving insights from big data
    • You have excellent communication skills for interfacing with peers in internal/external departments
    • You have advanced knowledge of SQL and statistical programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Scala, C++).
    • You have direct experience handling and querying datasets and databases of various sizes and degrees of cleanliness
    • You have a deep understanding of statistical analysis and methods
    • You can independently manage and consult with stakeholders in complex projects to define success criteria and timelines
    • GCP certifications (e.g. ML engineer, Data engineer)What you'll get:

        • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master's degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.Travel Required:
