Together we are helping tackle some of our communities pressing health and social needs.Position Summary:Performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, angiographic, and computerized tomographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Uses independent judgment to accomplish the efficient completion of prescribed radiologic procedures utilizing good patient care and proper radiation protection standards. Processes films and assures correct film and file documentation. Records information related to exams into department computer. Provides services in a manner consistent with the hospitals policies and procedures.Major Position Responsibilities:The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner. The characteristics of the position and standards of performance may be changed by TCMC with or without prior notice based on the needs of the organization.Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.Performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, angiographic, and computerized tomographic proceduresCompletes prescribed radiologic procedures utilizing good patient care and proper radiation protection standardsProcesses films and assures correct film and file documentationRecords information related to exams into department computer.Provides services in a manner consistent with the hospitals policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerQualifications:Minimum of three (3) years experience in advance radiologic procedures and/or possess capabilities to perform these procedures; or may consider recent graduate, within the past two years, from a Radiology Technology program, required.Licenses:Must obtain within one year of employment: CRT, (Calif. Radiologic Technology certificate), California Fluoroscopy permit, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registry (R).Certifications:Current BLS certification, required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.*Salary/Hourly wage range for this position is posted.
