The Dexcom Electrical Engineering team is accountable for all aspects of electronics development for research platforms, wearable transmitters, handheld receivers and test tools.The Sr. Staff Hardware Engineer role is responsible for design, modeling/simulation and test of electronics throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life.Where you come in:

  • You will analyze data and specifications to determine the feasibility of product proposals.

  • You will ensure designs achieve the highest quality at the lowest cost with the lowest cycle times.
  • You will implement and contribute to cross-functional design reviews to maximize quality.
  • You will embrace a culture of low-cost design, innovation and efficient design methods.
  • You will implement processes and tools to maximize product quality and minimize cycle times.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver to agreed-upon project milestones and timelines.
  • You will mentor and motivate junior engineers via an open, inclusive and collaborative environment.What makes you successful:
    • You have extensive ULP analog (AFE), digital (MCU) and/or RF (NFC, BLE) electronic design and test experience.
    • You have a proven track record of executing in a deadline driven, fast paced environment.
    • You communicate with transparency and your actions reflect honesty, equity and inclusion.
    • You promote collaboration, encouraging open dialogue and listening to diverse perspectives.
    • You overcome obstacles and consistently achieve outcomes that move the organization forward.

    • Experience with medical device design, FDA/BSI regulations a plus; Experience with ASIC design a plus.

        • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Master's degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 5+ years of experience.Travel Required:
