Company:Qualcomm India Private LimitedJob Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Test EngineeringGeneral Summary:As a developer-test you enjoy breaking software, and you are an expert at developing code to test system software and characterizing it across multiple quality dimensions including functionality, reliability, performance, stability and supportability. You should have strong scripting skills (Python/Perl) and C/C++ programming skills. A solid understanding of CS fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and trees is essential. You should possess strong knowledge of Android frameworks, kernel performance, KPI definitions, and profiling. Excellent triage and system-level debugging skills are required, especially in testing embedded systems. Earlier experience in test automation is a plus.Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
• OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
• OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
