Company:Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > GPU ASICS EngineeringGeneral Summary:Qualcomm's GPU Research Team is looking for talented GPU architects to help advance state-of-the-art capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and General-Purpose use of modern GPUs (GPGPU). Through close collaboration with software team, hardware design team, standardization bodies, internal and external customers, and participation in ML/AI open-source projects, you will help develop and design new GPU architectural features for ML/AI and GPGPU use cases, such as large language models (LLM). For this role, we expect a strong understanding of GPU architectures, programming models, and applications. Familiarity with APIs such as OpenCL, CUDA, Vulkan, or D3D12 is required. Working knowledge of C/C++ is required. Python programming skills are a strong plus.Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• OR Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• OR PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:$133,600.00 - $200,400.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
