School of Management is committed to academic excellence and
diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body, and has
occasional openings for temporary non-senate faculty (Unit 18
Lecturers). The Accounting and Finance research areas at Rady are
seeking candidates who will support and enhance its teaching
mission. Rady offers a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc)
program and a Master of Quantitative Finance (MQF) program for
graduate students, as well as an Accounting Minor and a Finance
Minor for undergraduate students. Ideal candidates will contribute
to the development and delivery of high-quality
education.Undergraduate and graduate courses for which Accounting
and Finance lecturers may be needed during the 2025-26 AY include
but are not limited to:
- MGT 131B: Intermediate Accounting B
- MGT 148: Mergers and Acquisitions
- MGT 183: Financial Investments
- MGTP 425: Professional Research for Accountants
- MGTP 429: Advanced Topics in Accounting and Auditing
- MGTP 435: Accounting for Mergers and AcquisitionsAppointees
must comply with School and University instructions, deadlines, and
policies regarding course scheduling, and are expected to be
flexible with regards to the scheduling of their classes to
accommodate the limited space availability for classrooms during
standard business hours. Classes may be in person, online, or
mixed. Appointments may be part- or full-time, for 1, 2, or 3
classes per quarter and 1, 2, or 3 quarters in duration in an

least one year of teaching experience or specialized field
expertise in a business discipline.Preferred qualificationsGraduate
degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related field,
such as Management with an Accounting or Finance focus.Subject
matter expertise, typically obtained through practical business
experience of 5+ years.Teaching experience of 3+ years.Application
