of our staff.Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is
currently recruiting for an Outpatient Occupational Therapist to
provide care to a varied pediatric caseload from 0 through 13 years
old.This is an exciting opportunity for pediatric physical
therapists who are interested in joining a multidisciplinary
pediatric care team and support our growing programs for Childhood
Obesity clinic, as well as Early Intervention and Infant Mental
Health.This position is available as part-time or full-time. Join

extremely dedicated to the young patients they
serve!Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patients referred to occupational therapy, as well as
the Childhood Obesity clinic, and Early Intervention.
- Performs evaluation according to each patient's needs,
physician recommendations, and specific program
guidelines/protocols.
- Communicates with patient and/or parents/caregivers regarding
evaluation results, treatment plan, and goals. Provides home
program activities to patients and/or parents/caregivers to ensure
carryover to the home environment.
- Engages patients and/or parents/caregivers in the treatment
sessions.
- Provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate in
accordance with established standards of care and practice. Designs
an appropriate and effective treatment plan and work within scope
of practice at all times. Monitors progress of treatment goals
through periodic observations and assessments. Conducts
re-evaluations when indicated.
- Consults with Physician, allied health professionals, and other
team members. Participates in case conferencing meeting and in
program planning meetings. Facilitates training and presentations
for staff, patients, and parents/caregivers when applicable.
- Communicates regularly with Referral Specialist, Case
Management, Care Coordination, and Scheduling staff. Makes
recommendations and follows through with referrals to internal
programs, as well as outside agencies when appropriate. Makes
recommendations to infant/early childhood or mental health services
when dyadic concerns arise.
- Completes all required documentation accurately, in a timely
manner, and thoroughly in accordance with the department standards;
in addition, documentation complies with the patient's insurance
requirements.
- Provides treatment at different FHCSD clinic sites for
increasing patients' ability to access care.Requirements:
- California State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR
(BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life
Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
- At least 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
preferred.
- Pediatric specific experience required and experience in early
intervention (0-3) preferred.

excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of
fringe benefits.$45.67 - $58.51If you are hired at Family Health
Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be
determined based on factors such as geographic location,
jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience.
In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay
equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as
a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range
mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to
allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a
