TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in San Diego, California, 92123 Pay Information $2,089 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); Day 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Guaranteed Hours: Yes, after meeting call-off policy Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Level 4 NICU License: State license required or ETA needed Certifications: BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience or strong Level 3 NICU experience with surgical procedures - Cardiac experience - Familiarity with oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, nasal cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC, UVC, PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-tubes - Ability to perform line changes with multiple drips and provide pre and post-operative care - Flu shot during flu season - Willingness to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses - Own transportation Job Description: - Locals are accepted and first-time travelers are considered - Availability to work weekends with full flexibility - No on-call duties required - May float within the facility scope to meet needs - Potential to float to sister facilities - Block scheduling is not accommodated - Maximum of 6 days of requested time off - Comfortable with working holidays; required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Modules to be completed pre-start - Orientation consists of 12 hours and required prior to the start - Mileage reimbursement for NICU and HomeCare positions when driving to locations other than the home base facility - Hospital recognized for excellence and a great place to work 27116946EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
