.Care. No Matter What.The Sr. Talent Development Specialist &
Instructional Designer will work in close cooperation with the
Talent Development team and other key stakeholder groups to build
and implement strategic learning and development initiatives
primarily focused on Health Center staff. This role designs,
develops, and supports high-quality learning activities and events
in a variety of training modalities to support and enhance the
performance and effectiveness of employees. They perform
evaluation/impact activities and reporting of training trends.The
Sr. Talent Development Specialist & Instructional Designer will use
innovative blended learning solutions to create compelling, modern,
and engaging training and learning opportunities. They must be
highly self-motivated, driven by the mission, and able to build
strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the
organization.In this role, you'll get to:
- Apply industry-accepted Instructional Systems Design standards
and processes, such as ADDIE and SAM, to develop and deliver
learning activities and products.
- Collaborate with SMEs and other key stakeholders to assess
training and development needs and recommend solutions using a
"performance consultant" approach.
- Create and improve e-learning, instructor-led, and blended
training using experience in contemporary methods of adult learning
theory, social and mobile learning, and curriculum design.
- Collaborate with PPPSW leaders to assess knowledge gaps and
identify new training needs.
- Consult with Program Leadership and Trainers to develop
individual training program goals, overall program objectives, and
module objectives. Ensure focused training, increasing the
capability of the Licensed and Non-Licensed Staff Training
Programs.
- Review program evaluations, and participant and manager
feedback on training effectiveness to make recommendations for
program improvement.
- Recommend training and performance support solutions with an
emphasis on technology solutions.
- Organize complex information in clearly understood
instruction.
- Develop assessment measurements to evaluate the effectiveness
of training.
- Maintain current knowledge of instructional design and
effective teaching strategies with an emphasis on multimedia,
interactive and online technologies for synchronous and
asynchronous instruction, and equity-minded practices.
- Stay informed on emerging educational technologies including
gamification, social media and mobile applications.
- Train on sensitive topics including comprehensive reproductive
health and sexuality education, sexually transmitted infections and
all FDA-approved birth control methods.
- Review and revise courses as needed to ensure accuracy and
relevancy.
- Implement documentation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Provide train-the-trainer support to other trainers, SMEs and
key stakeholders as needed.
- In support of PPPSW's Just Culture Philosophy, identify and
report errors, near misses, and employee, patient and customer
safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Comply with PPPSWs Code of Conduct and maintain the highest
level of professional and ethical standards and to act in
compliance with both the letter and spirit of all applicable laws
and regulations.What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in educational technology, training and
development, instructional design, communication or related field,
or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years' of experience designing and developing instructional
programs and materials including e-learning, instructor-led
programs, and other performance-support tools and resources (e.g.,
job aids, FAQs, checklists, etc.)
- 4+ years' experience with Articulate Storyline or similar
authoring eLearning system software.
- Experience implementing adult learning principles and
learner-centered concepts to design and develop eLearning and
instructor-led training programs.
- Experience working with an LMS - Saba preferred.$86,609 -
$90,940 a yearThe hiring rate for this position is $86,609-$90,940
