exciting opportunity for an SAP Functional Analyst to join our
Kontron Family! As part of the internal SAP support team, this
individual will work across the enterprise to support the SAP ERP
system.This role is a remote work opportunity.Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for cross-enterprise SAP
ECC modules including SD, MM, PP, QM, CS, and FI-CO
- Provide incident analysis and solutions
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
- Provide data to management teams via standard and customized
SAP reports; work with business users to streamline export of data
to existing and third-party solutions, i.e. Microsoft Power BI
- Maintain SAP User IDs and Passwords, assign SAP Authorization
Roles and document access changes
- Collect business requirements, provide functional
specifications, and coordinate solutions
- Document requirements, processes and objectives, test cases and
results; follow up on testing and approvals
- Run scripts, e.g. SAP GUI Scripting, LSMW, or BDC, to maintain
data per business requirements
- Configure Tax Jurisdiction Codes and work with AR department to
ensure sales tax rates are kept up to date
- Train users on SAP functionality
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
- Proactively identify and propose business process improvements
and/or system enhancementsRequirementsDesired Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an SAP support environment
required
- This position will work in the Eastern time zone to collaborate
closely with SAP teams in Europe
- In-depth knowledge of at least two of SAP Modules SD, MM, PP,
QM, CS, or FI-CO
- Skilled in understanding the business scenarios for SD, MM, PP,
QM, CS, and FI-CO modules from SAP technical perspective
- Knowledge of SAP Script and Adobe forms
- Knowledge of xml transformations and REST processing in SAP;
experience in developing and consuming RESTful services a plus
- Basic ABAP Programming skills with good knowledge on ABAP
Object Oriented programming
- Good knowledge in SICF services with OData / any other
formats
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, some knowledge of
Microsoft Power BI a plus
- Understanding of accounting business processes
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer
perspective
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting
with others
- Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and
attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact
with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
in a collaborative environment
