Description:Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Commander Join General
Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's
most complex technical challenges. -ATGPAC's Battlelab Support team
is seeking an Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Commander to support
this vital program with positions available in San Diego, CA.The
Battlelab team shall provide technical, tactical, and
administrative support to provide FBP, FST-U, STW and BMD
distributed training to ships and provide feedback to ATGSD,
ATGPNW, and ATGMP.Duties include:The contractor shall provide
technical, tactical, and administrative support to provide FBP,
FST-U, STW and BMD distributed training to ships and provide
feedback to ATGSD, ATGPNW, and ATGMP, as applicable.Required
Qualifications:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
- Must have a minimum 8 years of AD/BMD Mission Area experience
as a qualified Tactical Action Officer or BMD Watch Officer or CSC
(for a minimum of three years)
- As part of this experience, a minimum of 5 years must have been
served onboard an AEGIS DDG and or CG.
- Naval Warfare Specialist. Warfare experience in implementation
of Task Group Concept as an Air Defense Warfare Commander
(B/SUWC/BMD) or as a senior staff member for a Task Group/Force
Commander, or as a Senior Facilitator with equivalent experience
training warfare commanders or senior staff members.
- Must have 5 years scenario development/training/operation
experience with Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF); Multi-System
Automated Remote-Control Interface (MARCI).
- Must have 5 years' experience with Tactical Data Information
Link generation systems supporting LOS Link 11(A) /16(J),
Satellite-J, Link 16, Global Command and Control System-Maritime
(GCCS-M); Tactical Voice/Data Communications.
- Must have experience in naval warfare operations or conducting
training for naval warfare or equivalent joint experience.Knowledge
of:
- The Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM)
- Composite Warfare Commander construct Command and Control,
regarding surveillance, engagement and planning functions required
for each of the various numbered fleets
- Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures
- Fleet Synthetic Training architecture
- Ballistic Missile Defense Planning and Operations (BMD

position is $119,862 - $162,166. This is not, however, a guarantee
of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on
experience, geographic location and possibly contractual
requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly
