pstrongJoin the Border Tire team!!! Border Tire is hiring a Counter Sales Associate in Lakeside, CA!/strong/p

pThestrong Counter Sales Associate/strong will assist customers in the shop and over the phone with tire and/or part purchases along with coordinating and scheduling deliveries./p

pstrongResponsibilities:/strong/p

ul
liAssists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required tires/parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner./li
liInforms customers of companion part requirements, specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line./li
liAnswer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information within a timely matter./li
liReviews estimates to be sure the tires/parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate./li
liProvides a high level of service to internal and external customers./li
liNotifies the Service Manager of out-of-stock tires/parts or shop materials that need immediate attention./li
liLocates out-of-stock tires/parts from an outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary./li
liNotifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered tires/parts have been received./li
liNotifies the Service Manager when all tires/parts have arrived and when they will be delivered./li
liFollows up on back-ordered tires/parts./li
liVerifies will-call and back-order fills weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required./li
liReplenishes assigned inventory daily./li
liAssists outside sales representatives with their orders./li
liMakes sure all internal requests for tires/parts are billed on the service repair order./li
liReceives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization./li
liEnsures that all charge sales are signed by the customer./li
liEnsures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice./li
liIssues credit for tires/parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified./li
liKeeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order tires/parts./li
liSolicits assigned accounts by phone./li
liKeeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered./li
liCleans computer terminals and printers daily./li
liParticipates in all training programs that are made available./li
liKeeps current on new products and product updates./li
liParticipates with the manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program./li
liMaintains professional appearance./li

pstrongQualifications:/strong/p

liHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six-plus months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./li
liFlexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays./li
liMust have computer proficiency./li
liTeam-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service./li
liValid drivers license./li
