Ltd.Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Hardware EngineeringGeneral Summary:Job Overview:The Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated SoC chip for mobile application. We work with Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize and support QTIs products.Major Responsibilities:

  • Job responsibilities for the position include designing and debugging of test interface HW (loadboard), test SW (test program) development, HW/SW integration, characterization plan development, first silicon debug, process experiment (split) definition, multiple-source fab matching, device characterization, data analysis, product documentation/presentation, test limit (guardband) generation; driving failure analysis to completion, yield variance control.
  • The job scope also requires the engineer to drive for short term and long term test time reduction and yield improvement to meet set goals without compromising production quality for multiple projects in parallel.Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
    • New graduate is welcomed as well.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Solid understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals, digital, analog circuit analysis techniques.
      • Good knowledge of semiconductor basic manufacturing process. Wafer fabrication fundamentals are a plus.
      • Knowledge of semiconductor Functional testing and power measurement will be a plus.
      • Hands-on ATE experience (especially Advantest 93K ATE) will be a plus.
      • Knowledge on ATE SOC program development from NPI stage to volume ramp stage will be a plus.
      • Knowledge on basic statistical analysis.
      • Strong software skills (Java, C/C++, Visual Basic, Perl, Python etc.) for programming and debugging test codes.
      • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
      • Able to organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and remote teams. Experience with presenting product and test data driven decisions to management to drive actions.If you would like more information about this role, please contact .
