A career with us is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best civil engineers and construction managers.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Junior Associate Engineer with two to five years of experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, can work independently with minimum supervision, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who has some experience in civil engineering design and basic project management skills. Candidates are not required to have a Professional Engineering (PE) license in Civil Engineering, but preferably are in the process of obtaining the PE license.Responsibilities:

• Design of projects
• Performing studies, calculations, designs and preparation of plans and reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards
• Assistance with preparation of proposals and fee estimate
• Development of work plans and schedules
• Assisting in the management of projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clientsRequired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum two to five years of practical work experience
  • California EIT Registration desired; actively pursuing a California PE License preferred
  • Experience with structural engineering and an understanding of structural building codes desired
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
  • Solid experience with the MS Office SuiteWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes company paid medical, dental and vision insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
